Chartering a sailing boat for going to the Carnival of this famous locality is one of the activities that you will not forget. See how it goes: On Saturday morning everything starts with the charter of the sailing boat. Later on, after having bought provisions we will drop the lines from the Olimpic Port in Barcelona and will start sailing to Sitges.

It has been more than a century that Sitges carnival is being celebrated. Following
the liturgical calendar, the carnival is always celebrated between February and
March. The most
important events of the carnival take place in the streets. On Sunday night takes
place The Shamelessness
Parade and on Tuesday, the most important event is The Extermination Parade. During the celebration of the
carnival the streets of Sitges are invaded by about 40 decorated trailers and 2000
participants. Dances and xatonadas are characteristic elements of the
carnival.
